MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD - DRAFT
Thursday 9th January 2023 at Grimoldby Village Hall at 7.30 pm

- APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE -None
- DISCLOSURE OF INTERESTS
All Councillors confirmed that there had been no change in their Registered Interests in previous twelve months.
- CO-OPTION OF COUNCILLORS
(3.1) No parishioner has to date indicated a willingness to be co-opted onto the Parish Council
- PUBLIC QUESTIONS/ PRESENTATIONS –
None
- MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETINGS
(5.1) Minutes of Parish Council meeting held on 12th September 2022 approved , proposed Cllr Needham and seconded by Cllr P Hope. Agreed .Noted that meeting scheduled for 12th December 2022 had been cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
- MATTERS ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES.
(6.1) Dates for meetings had been booked for 9th January, and 18th May 2023..
- GOVERNANCE REVIEW
(7.1) Following on from the Chair’s meeting with ELDC Officers the Chair briefed Councillors on the options and timescales involved with regards to the possible future of the Parish Council
Following extensive discussions of the possible options Councillors decided to send a letter to all Parishioners ahead of the elections scheduled for May 2023 making them aware of the present position, urging them to stand for election to their Parish Council, making them aware of the possible outcome if insufficient parishioners are willing to stand for election.
- FINANCE REPORT
(8.1) Current overall balance is £4152.60 Business Account £189+1.36 SCPCC Account £2254.24
9 PARISH PRECEPT 2023-2024
(9.1) Following consideration of the projected Budget requirements for 2023-24. The precept for coming Financial Year 2023-24 was set at £1000. Proposed Cllr S Wood. Seconded Cllr S Needham. Agreed unanimously
. 10 CORRESPONDANCE
(10.1) Councillors confirmed receipt of the weekly LALC updates and the electronic copy of LALC News
(10.2) Request from LIVES for financial support considered. Agreed to allocate £200 to LIVES.

(11 1) No new planning applications have been received.
12 MATTERS APERTAINING TO PARISH BUSINESS
((12.1) Agreed not to purchase Coronation mugs or to organise any village event.to mark Coronation
