MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD at Grimoldby Village Hall

4. MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETINGS
(4.1) The minutes of Parish Council meeting held on Monday 13th May 2019, proposed Cllr Needham and seconded by Cllr N Hole. Agreed unanimously.
(4.2) The minutes of Parish Annual Meeting held on Monday 13th May 2019, proposed Cllr Needham and seconded by Cllr N Hole. Agreed unanimously
5. MATTERS ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES.
(5.1) A replacement bench has been assembled and will be installed as soon as possible.
(5.2) A replacement gate has been purchased from Wishes in Wood for the Church Walk footpath and has been installed by them for a total cost of £300
6 FINANCE REPORT
(6.1) Current overall balance is £4619.41 Business Account £2259.14 SCPCC Account £2360.27
(6.2) Payment to West View Cottages for defibrillator cost approved - £25 Action Clerk
(6.3) ELDC had issued an Invoice for election costs - £48.50
(6.4) Clerk drew attention to the current level of expenditure in respect of Annual Precept income.
(6.5) Cost of hire of the Village Hall will rise to £22 with effect from 1 October 2019
7. CORRESPONDANCE
(7 1) Councillors confirmed they had all received the weekly LALC updates
(7.2) Other received materials were to be circulated to members.
8. PLANNING MATTERS
(8 1) N/158/02125/18 Extension and alterations to existing house – The Old Vicarage. – approved
(8.2) N/158/00090/19- Grasswells, Howdales – change of use and secondly N/128/00473/19 The Archways, Red Lees Lane both approved
(8.3) N/158/01091/19 had not been approved.
(8.4) N/158/1564/19 planning application ref. proposed change of use of riding school . Following extensive discussions the Parish Council felt unable to support the application. Councillors instructed the Clerk to responds to ELDC reflecting this position. Council response to be circulated to members before submission to ELDC Action Clerk
9. MATTERS ARISING PERTAINING TO PARISH BUSINESS
(9.1) Cllr Batman raised concerns regarding the capsizing of the road along St Leonard’s Lane in the immediate vicinity of New Hall Clerk to raise this issue with LCC again. Action Clerk .
(9.2) Cllr Bateman raised concerns regarding whose responsibility it is to clear ditches of vegetation. The ditch in South View Lane opposite Church Walk being identified as an area of concern, Agreed to visit site and review the issue
(9.3) Cllr Needham raised the issue of the need to purchase replacement batteries for the defibrillator.
