MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD
Thursday 6th January 2022 at Grimoldby Village Hall at 7.30 pm

- PUBLIC QUESTIONS/ PRESENTATIONS –
Mr Slater spoke of his concerns regarding the proposal to site a nuclear waste dump at Theddlethorpe. He made Councillors aware of the concerns parties actively involved in opposing the proposals had as well as the difficulties they had had in accessing relevant information and the difficulties of access experienced in contacting some of the parties behind the proposal. He also made Councillors aware of the concerns that was felt on some quarters with regards the approach adopted by LCC concerning the proposals to date.

(4.1) Minutes of Parish Council meeting held on 2nd December 2021, at 7.30pm proposed Cllr Needham and seconded by Cllr P Hope. Agreed
- MATTERS ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES.
(5.1) Cllr S Needham informed the meeting that the letter informing parishioners of the Defibrillator code
been produced and distributed with the Village News ..
- FINANCE REPORT
(6.1) Current overall balance is £4670.89 Business Account £2260.57 SCPCC Account £2410.31
(6.2) Management of Village Hall had responded to the complaint raised regarding the conditions in
the Committee room at the time of the last meeting and had reduced the Hire Charge to £17.
Charges for future booking to be £10 per hour.
(6.3) Payment of £25 to West View Cottages for the electricity to power the Defibrillator was outstanding
7 PARISH PRECEPT 2022-2023
Following consideration of the projected Budget requirements for 2022-23. The precept for coming Financial Year 2022-23 was set at £1000. Proposed Cllr S Wood Seconded Cllr S Needham. Agreed unanimously
8 PLATINUM JUBILEE CELEBRATION JUNE 2022
(8.1)Clerk confirmed that West View Cottage site had been booked for Sunday 5th June - Payment of £100
to reserve site to be made Action Clerk
(8.2) Nigel Hole’s group had been booked for the event.
(8.3) A deposit has been paid to Spitting Pig Co. to provide refreshments on the day for 70 people.
(8.4) Chairs and tables to be hired from Manby and Grimoldby Village Hall cost £50 Action Clerk
(8.5) Decided not to proceed with Commemorative mugs due to cost.
(8.6) Meeting to be arranged in early April to discuss arrangement for the day. Meeting to involve all parties
if possible associated with the event. Action Clerk
. 9 CORRESPONDANCE
(9.1) Councillors confirmed receipt of the weekly LALC updates and the electronic copy of LALC News
(9.2) No other outstanding correspondence
10 PLANNING MATTERS
(10 1) No new planning applications have been received.
(10.2) Notification received from ELDC granting approval to applications N/158/02111/21 and N/158/01865
