MINUTES OF THE MEETING HELD

                                                                                                                  Thursday 2nd December at Grimoldby Village Hall at 7.30 pm

  1.  MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS MEETINGS

(5.1) Minutes of Parish Council meeting held on 9th September 2021, at 7.30pm proposed Cllr Needham and seconded by Cllr B Batman. Agreed

  1. MATTERS ARISING FROM PREVIOUS MINUTES.

              (6.1) Cllr Batman confirmed that the mobile home had now left the site.

  1. FINANCE REPORT

      (7.1) Current overall balance is £4958.35 Business Account £2260.55   SCPCC Account £2695.81

           (7.2) Management of Village Hall had decided to give one free hire to regular users to ‘celebrate’ reopening of     

                   Village Hall after the extensive refurbishments

     8. CORRESPONDANCE

            (8.1) Councillors confirmed they had all received the weekly LALC updates and the electronic copy of LALC

                    News

            (8.2) No other outstanding correspondence

   9      DEFIBRILLATOR

            (9.1) there was extensive discussion regarding the release of access code for the defibrillator to all households

               within the village. Clerk directed to check insurance position with insurers Zurich. Subject to insurance

               cover being unaffected by such action it was agreed that the code should be made available to all households

               via a newsletter enclosed with next edition of the Village News.                                    Action Clerk

     10 PLANINUM JUBILLEE 2022

         (10.1) Following discussion of possible arrangements to mark the Queens Platinum Jubilee on

                    Sunday 5th June 2022 it was agreed unanimously to -

  1. Book West View cottages for the event at cost of £100
  2. To book Nigel Hole’s group to provide musical entertainment  for the afternoon £200
  3. To explore the organisation of a Hog Roast style food provision with a budget of £1000 for 70 participants
  4. To defer until January any decision with regards to purchasing commemorative mugs

     11. PLANNING MATTERS

(11 1)   No new planning applications have been received.

(11.2)   No notification have been received from ELDC with regards the two most recent applications the Parish Council had considered
